Rory Gallagher International Tribute Festival 2024 takes place in the town where the world's greatest Blues Rock Guitarist was born - Ballyshannon, Co. Donegal, Ireland. We are proud to host this wonderful Festival to the Late Great Rory Gallagher for the 20th year.
The Festival is a 4-day event from Thursday 30th May to Sunday 2nd June 2024 and it includes 3 Headline Ticketed Big Top Concerts on the 31st May, 1st & 2nd June 2024. However there are many other outdoor street gigs, Rory Gallagher Statue and Theatre Gigs and the Pubs Blues Trail on all 4 days that is predominantly free to view.
Rory Gallagher International Tribute Festival Headline Acts at the Big Top for 2024 in Ballyshannon include Uli Jon Roth & Band (ex. Scorpions), the legendary Canned Heat, Band of Friends featuring Gerry McAvoy, Brendan O’Neill and Davy Knowles, Albert Cummings (USA), Erja Lyytinen & Her Band (Finland), DeWolff (Netherlands), Nine Below Zero featuring Mark Feltham, Dennis Greaves & Charlie Austen, Johnny Gallagher & The Boxtie Band, Pat McManus Band and many more - In all there are 30 Acts on 15 Stages over 4 Days in Association with Failte Ireland.
There are non-stop open-air Free to view concerts on the streets of Ballyshannon, non-stop Pub Blues Rock sessions, Exhibitions, Gigs at the renowned Rory Gallagher Statue in the heart of Ballyshannon.
The Rory Gallagher International Tribute Festival 2024 will see fans assemble in Ballyshannon from over 20 Countries across the world. This is the pilgrimage, it is a gathering of loyal Rory fans but also Blues Rock and Rock music fans.
