The KEPAK SHEARFEST 2024 welcomes the All Ireland & All Nations Sheep Shearing & Woolhandling Championships to Mountbellew, Co. Galway. The event will take place on Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd over the June bank holiday weekend.
The championships will welcome the elite of international sheep shearers and woolhandlers for what promises to be an enthralling and highly competitive weekend of action. Often referred to as the “Olympics of sheep shearing”, competitors will proudly represent their nations and demonstrate their shearing and woolhandling skills as they are cheered on by a passionate audience.
In addition to the sheep shearing and woolhandling championships, the event will also feature two fun-filled days of family entertainment including: children’s amusements, fashion shows, cookery demonstrations, an Irish Wool Experience, craft stalls, food trucks, sheepdog trials, pedigree & rare sheep exhibits, face painting, an interactive magic show, trade stands and much more!
Includes Live Music from Claudia Buckley (Saturday), Ciaran Rosney (Sunday) and many other artists.
Ticket Information:
Daily adult admission: €15.00 plus booking fee.
Daily 12-17 year-old admission: €5.00 plus booking fee.
Free entry for U12s when accompanied by an adult.
Gates open at 9am. Day finishes at 6pm.
Free car park available.
