The Blue Haven is passionate about the Hill’s of Donegal…..we guarantee after this weekend you will love it just as much as we do!

Often referred to as “The forgotten County”, Donegal is actually the hidden gem of Ireland, with its rugged coast line, beauty spots a plenty, rich history, not forgetting our fauna & wild life. There is much to discover, join us on the first of our walking tours, where we have blended the hospitality here at The Blue Haven Hotel, with our local country side to create a memorable experience for all the participants.

We are pleased that the weekend will be headed by Kevin, The Wild Atlantic Traveller. Join him, as he takes you on a weekend of discovery. From the majestic Stirral @ Slieve Liag & more, the highest cliffs in Europe, a scenic boat trip, a visit to the famine village in Glencolmcille, a swim & sauna @ Teelin, the secret waterfall, (That isn’t so much a secret anymore!) a walk along Fintra beach & a dip in Donegal Bay.

A trip into Kilcar village will be a must, we can take a stroll, pop into Studio Donegal where they produce beautiful weaved products using colours influenced by the heathers on our hills. See where Liam Neeson’s latest movie, In the Land of Saints & Sinners was filmed, you couldn’t leave the village before popping into John Joe’s Bar for a drop of the black stuff or a lighter beverage to whet your lips!

Each day will be rounded off with dinner in our dining areas over looking the stunning Donegal Bay.

Join us, for a weekend guaranteed to be filled with good fun, great company, beautiful scenery & exceptional hospitality!
