Féile Binn Éadair: A Celebration of Irish Music in the Heart of Howth

Féile Binn Éadair, formerly known as Howth Tradfest, is set to captivate audiences with a rich tapestry of Irish and Traditional music in the picturesque fishing village of Howth, 25 minutes from the centre of Dublin. This vibrant festival promises to immerse attendees in the melodies and rhythms of both the past and present, creating an unforgettable experience for music enthusiasts of all ages.

Headlining this year's festival is the incomparable Sharon Shannon, renowned for her mastery of the accordion and her electrifying performances that blend traditional Irish music with influences from around the world. Sharon Shannon will take the stage at The Abbey Tavern on Saturday night, promising an evening of music that will stir the soul.

Other headline acts at The Abbey Tavern include Altan, Lemoncello, and the captivating vocalist Eoghan Ó Ceannabháin with Saltaire in a fantastic double bill & Pogueology/The Dead Irish/Sabbages in the Summit Inn. These performances are ticketed events, offering an exclusive opportunity to witness these iconic musicians in an intimate setting.

But the excitement doesn't end there. Féile Binn Éadair boasts a diverse lineup of 28 Free gigs and sessions spread across six venues throughout the village and hill of Howth. From the lively atosphere of McNeills to the cozy charm of the Harbour Bar, attendees can wander from one performance to the next, soaking in the music like a true aficionado.
