Megadeth UK headline Day 1 of this year's Metalfest. These guys play all the ferocious tunes from Megadeth's catalogue and they play them to perfection. They've been all around Europe on the tribute scene playing to thousands of MegaFans and everyone agreeing that Megadeth UK are as close to perfection as possible.

Words That Burn return after a spellbinding show in 2025. This band is a must see live. They fuse melodic metal, metalcore, electric & alt-rock with crushing riffs & soaring choruses.
Fanthrax open proceedings but could easily headline as this is a band pack with seasoned players and as they are fans of Anthrax, you know that they will play a face melting set.
Celtic Legacy has been tearing it up since 1997 with its own brand of Iron Maiden meets Thin Lizzy and some Celtic Rock thrown in for good measure. The band has 5 albums under its belt, including the underground classic that is ‘Resurrection’, several songs from which are mainstays in the band’s live set. Legacy recently released new music in the form of 2 singles: ‘The Crow’ and ‘Golden Sun’. As the band approaches its 30-year milestone, the boys are showing no signs of stopping anytime soon.
