Feile Nasc Presents: Midsummer Show - Mundy Plus Special Guest Camille O'Sullivan

An unforgettable midsummer evening awaits at Church of the Holy Name as two of Ireland’s most captivating performers, Mundy and Camille O’Sullivan, come together for a rare and intimate double headliner concert.

Set within the beautiful surroundings of Church of the Holy Name, this special midsummer concert is centred on the unique musical connection between Mundy and Camille O’Sullivan. While each artist will perform their own individual set accompanied by a band member, the heart of the evening will be their coming together on stage — sharing songs, stories and performances in what promises to be an intimate and memorable collaboration.

Mundy’s unmistakable voice and timeless songwriting have made him one of Ireland’s most beloved artists, while Camille O’Sullivan is renowned for her spellbinding live performances filled with passion, drama and emotion. Camille has captivated audiences in sold-out performances at venues and festivals including Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Sydney Opera House, Royal Festival Hall and Dublin’s National Concert Hall. Together, she and Mundy create a musical chemistry that is both powerful and deeply moving.

Their haunting rendition of Haunted at the funeral of Shane MacGowan became one of the most talked-about musical moments in recent Irish memory — a performance of extraordinary beauty and feeling that introduced a whole new audience to the remarkable chemistry between Mundy and Camille O’Sullivan.

Audiences can also look forward to beloved songs from across both artists’ acclaimed careers, from Mundy favourites such as Galway Girl, July and To You I Bestow, to Camille’s spellbinding interpretations of songs by artists including David Bowie, Jacques Brel and Nick Cave.

Presented by Féile Nasc, this concert follows on from the hugely successful sold-out performance by The Bonny Men at the same venue last November, continuing a growing tradition of special live music events in this unique setting.
